Miscellany!!! Oh how I have missed you. Hard to believe that it has been a week, and I still haven’t managed to post the last TN blog. Apparently, life in GA is a LOT more hectic than vacationing in the cabin. Anyone else ever feel like your to-do list has been fertilized and is taking off like a weed? That’s my life in a nutshell at the moment. But enough of that let’s get random!
1. Birthday Week is Here!
That’s right! In 5 days, I will be 24. My awesome boyfriend is planning up a surprise of the best kind (The kind where he tells me he’s planning it but won’t tell me what it is. It helps the crazy planner in me to know something is going to happen, but the fun-loving kid in me loves not knowing what it is!) And my wonderfully amazing sister is coming all the way from Tennessee to celebrate
Easter my birthday with us!
I don’t feel well at all today. And I think it might be more than my normal Monday blues. I’ll spare you the icky details.
3. Check this out!
So, this is a sketch of my little sister during her recital. It’s done by her friend, Amanda. Isn’t it awesome?!?!
J and I picked this movie up at the Redbox (Hehe more like I surprised him with it!) for free!! (Thanks to a promo code!!) Have I mentioned that I LOVE the Redbox?!?! Anyhoo, this movie was off the chain (I’m sure my teens would cringe at the use of such an outdated phrase. See? There are perks to getting old!). It didn’t end in the way I thought it would. Actually, the ending seemed a bit abrupt to me personally, but I have to admit that I loved this movie. I love Angelina Jolie in just about anything. She’s definitely a kickbutt chica. And she didn’t let me down in this one. J said she was like James Bond but better (if I quoted him wrong he’ll straighten me out I’m sure). A few times the morals were iffy, but I have to admit there were moments when I seriously didn’t know who to trust. It’s suspenseful, action-packed, and awesome! Hit up the Redbox and watch it. Oh keep in mind, however, that it is violent and the language is not really clean.
5. Starburst Jellybeans
are my favorite and are also impossible to find this year. I’m pretty bummed about this. I tried the Lifesaver ones, but I’m not impressed. I guess it’s back to good ol’ Brach’s for me. What’s your favorite kind of jellybean? And do you eat them all year or just at Easter time?
They’re like little digital mix tapes. How awesome is that! I’m currently jamming out to a random list J made. And it’s crazy how we like so many of the same songs! Btw, does anyone think Amy Lee’s voice is haunting? It’s gorgeous, but it gives me chills!
7. Easter Treats
are everywhere. If I weren’t a swamped birthday girl, I’d be whipping up some cute goodies myself. Instead, I’m just gawking and wishing.
